Basic job duties include: ensure that SWiC is able to meet the emergency needs of program participants evenings, nights, and weekends by providing crisis intervention and trauma-informed empowerment counseling; conduct intake and exit interviews; ensure program participant compliance with house rules, address conflicts that may arise among residents in safe house; assist program participants in petitioning for Emergency Protection from Abuse orders through video conferencing.
